Canopy Walk at Danum Valley Sabah
One of the most amazing experiences I have had is at the Canopy Walk at Danum Valley in Sabah Borneo.
This amazing canopy walk is one of the best in the world where you explore the canopy of the forest reserve in Danum, Sabah Borneo.
Located within a 348 square kilometer forest reserve, getting here is no simple task as it takes about 2 to 3 hours from the town of Lahat Datu on east coast Sabah via a four-wheel drive.
The forest reserve is also one of the most pristine where it caters to a vast reserve of lush tropical lowland forests rich in Sabah’s unique flora and fauna.
The area has also been recognized as one of the world’s most complex ecosystems catering to all kinds of flora and fauna.
For birdwatchers, they will surely appreciate the 300-meter-long and 27-meter-high canopy walkway which offers a peek into abundant bird life in the forest canopy here.
A three-level intersection on one of the trees makes the canopy walk one of the most unique in the world too.
You may have read or seen other articles on this, but let me assure you they are all written by desktop writers who have never been to any of them.
As a travel writer and photographer, one of my focuses is outdoors and nature, therefore experiencing these canopy walks was part of my duty of sharing them with my readers.
Some of the canopy walks or treetop walks are located in remote areas where guided tours are required. Most of them are in commercial parks and areas.
Final Thoughts to the Canopy Walk at Danum Valley
Nothing else will compare once you have visited this place and experienced the unique canopy walk here at Danum Valley in Sabah, which of course I can personally vouch for.
