Kuta Beach Photo in Bali
This Kuta beach photo in Bali was taken at the end of October 2012 after my diving trip to Tulamben. I had one free day in Legian and Kuta where exploration got the better of me.
Spending hours walking around Legian and Kuta, I made it to the main Pantai Kuta or Kuta Beach, which is the most popular beach on the island.
Stretching from one end to the other, you can see surfboards lined up against the trees that divide the main coastal road and beach here.

Kuta beach is also well known for surfing and of course the common beach activities. From just sun tanning to getting a traditional Indonesian massage, this place attracts almost everyone that visits Bali.
However, you should know that there is no scuba diving available here, as the best places are usually found around the island.

For first-timers visiting Bali, Kuta is a must-visit destination, as this is the liveliest part of the entire island. But if you do not like crowds, then avoid coming here.
To get here, just look for the Hard Rock Hotel Bali and you will see the beach across the main coastal road. There are also multiple entries to the beach from the main road here.
Check out some of my other pictures of Bali where I took a sunset in Kuta, and also a beautiful sunset in Uluwatu.

Conclusion
For photographers, the best time is to go in the mornings or afternoons if you want to get some really nice Kuta beach photos. Also, in the mornings, the crowds here are much less too.
The main reason for this is because, during this time, the weather is usually fantastic with nice blue skies and white clouds. If you are planning to visit here, have a great time.
