The Luxury Tourism Fair 2011 or LuxToFair ’11 will be organised for the first time here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These unique travel fair dates are set for the 20th to 22nd May at the Putra World Trade Center, KL.

The three day fair will focus on promoting luxury tourism and travel experiences within the region, emphasising Malaysia. Update – Due to the lack of participation, this fair was only a one-time event.

There will be many high-end tour operators, hotels and resorts to cater for affluent travellers too. Workshops, talks and various other programs related to lifestyle and leisure travel will be available here too.

The National Tourism Council of Malaysia also organised this luxury travel fair to promote and showcase many sought-after destinations, luxury accommodations, premier cruises, spas and health retreats, and exclusive holiday packages.

One of the main reason is the recent growth in luxury travel within the Asia Pacific region, particularly China, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Australia.

Conclusion

Update: This was a one-time event held here in Malaysia, but the response was not good; hence they never followed up with another Luxury Tourism Fair in Malaysia since then.

While LuxToFair ’11 is open to all walks of life, it would be something different offered for the first time in Malaysia; therefore, if you are free during the event days, why not take a trip and experience the Luxury Tourism Fair? At PWTC, Malaysia.
