Phulay Bay Beach in Krabi Picture of the Week

Phulay Bay Beach in Krabi Picture of the Week

The Phulay Bay Beach in Krabi is my picture of the week for January 2011, as this is a series of travel photos published from areas I have visited.
This beautiful setting was taken at the beach area of the Phulay Bay Ritz Carlton Reserve, a 6 Star Resort in Krabi, Thailand, under the luxurious Ritz Carlton Group.
Phulay Bay Beach in Krabi

Located at a private and secluded spot facing the Andaman Sea, this exclusive sanctuary offers Resort and Ocean Pavilions, Beach Villas, Reserve Villas and Royal Villas, all sea-facing and private.

The creative beach chair in the picture is part of Chomtawan – a Sunset Bar facing the Andaman Sea catering to guests who want to relax while watching the evening sunset for the day.

For those who want to get away from it all and have a tranquil holiday, you could consider Phulay Bay, A Ritz Carlton Reserve in Krabi, also located at Phulay Bay Beach in Krabi.

Great picture. Dreaming about the beach right now. It's cold and snowy here.

Cool shot. At first I thought the beach chair was a humongous snake coiled to strike!

I need to be there NOW. With a cocktail WITH AN UMBRELLA IN IT.
Sorry for shouting, but it's just cruel seeing pics like that when you're stuck at work.
I had a lovely pre-baby long weekend in Krabi in 2009. I want to go back there so much.

I could be pretty comfortable on that beach and in that unusual chair. Beautiful photo.

Thanks everyone. Yes, it does look like a coiled snake now that you mention it 🙂 Anyway, we ALL need that island break one time or another so I'm rooting for all of you to get one soon!

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. Well, I saw the rates here and they start at about US$1000+ a night. So, it's really high end lux here.
