These photos of the Sands Skypark Singapore were taken during my photography sessions when I visited the Marina Bay Sands in the opening day.

Touted as one of the architectural marvels of today, this unique sky park is located on the 57th floor on top of the massive structure overlooking the city of Singapore.

For non-hotel guests visiting the SkyPark, note that an entrance fee applies and you are only allowed access to the main decks and not the pool area.

You can pass by and take photographs but you are not allowed inside the main infinity swimming pool area.

Below are some of the pictures taken during my trip here and I was fortunate to have some blue skies. One of my previous trips here was horrible as it looked like it wanted to rain so the sky was grey and gloomy.

Anyway, enjoy the pictures and feel free to leave any comments. For those who want more information, you can read my other story about the Marina Bay Sands Skypark in Singapore.

View of Marina Bay from the observation area

As visiting guests are only allowed on the main observation decks, you can see the entire Marina Bay from up here.

It is also one of the best places to catch a beautiful Singapore Sunset, for photographers, professional or beginner.

Looking down below, you see the ArtScience Museum (Right), Louis Vuitton Island Maison (Center) and Pangaea Ultra Lounge and Club (Left) which is set to open by end 2012.

On the other side, you get to see the Singapore Flyer which is the world’s largest Ferris wheel and also the harbor and port of Singapore.

For more information, you can also read about the extravagant Opening of Marina Bay Sands which was the republic’s most grand opening.

And if you are planning to stay here, read about my Marina Bay Sands Room Review. Prices are slightly above the average but for the experience, I would recommend trying it as this is, after all, an integrated hotel and resort which is the first of its kind in the world.

Conclusion

For aspiring photographers who want something exciting to shoot, you can always visit this place in the mornings or late evenings for some beautiful pictures.

These photographs of the Sands Skypark Singapore are all taken by me using a Nikon D60 DSLR, and without any additional filters or equipment.
