Good news as soon, there will be SilkAir flights to Luang Prabang and Vientiane, Laos somewhere around the end of August and early September 2016.

This will connect Southeast Asia directly to one of the most beautiful countries in Indochina, Asia. However, these flights depart and land in Singapore therefore it will be easy for Malaysians and Singaporeans to now visit Laos.

SilkAir Flights to Luang Prabang 
SilkAir Flights to Luang Prabang and Vientiane will be thrice-weekly flights on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays where flights will operate in a circular routing and will depart from Singapore for Vientiane, followed by Luang Prabang, before heading back to Singapore.
The new services will be operated with SilkAir’s Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring both Business and Economy class cabins.

Customers will be provided with full-service experience, including in-flight meals, in-flight entertainment on SilkAir Studio, the baggage allowance of 40kg and 30kg for both classes.

For anyone visiting this UNESCO city, one of the things you should try is the Lao Food in Luang Prabang as it is an amazing experience for just about anyone.

To be very honest, we at Malaysia highly recommend visiting Laos as this place is truly one of the least developed countries in Indochina. There is so much to experience in terms of sightseeing, cultures, architecture and also food.

I visited Luang Prabang and Vientiane in 2008, and not much has changed since then, according to friends but overall, you can find many articles on Laos from our collection.
