Thailand Packages at Matta Fair
The Thailand Packages at Matta Fair will be one of the most sought-after travel deals at this year’s travel fair.
With the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) participation at the fair, you will be impressed with the demonstrations and information provided at one of the largest travel booths for Matta 2011.
Over the years, Tourism Thailand has always been very productive in promoting Thailand to Malaysians. After all, we are indeed neighbours, making it easy to travel to and fro via land, sea and air.
Thailand Packages at Matta Fair
Some highlights include the upcoming Songkran Festival, held from April 13-15 throughout Thailand.
Meanwhile, TAT Kuala Lumpur has also launched its new and improved official website of Tourism Thailand Malaysia, with more up-to-date information and news on Thailand.
To sweeten things, visitors at the Matta Fair could sample some of the local Thai cooking there. I would like to know the highlight this year; therefore, I will be there to check it out.
For those seeking some Eco-Tourism in Thailand, there is an abundance of this available, and many of the unique places would be around the Southern part of Thailand. One of the must-visit places includes Krabi, which is filled with many choices for Eco-Tourism.
Take advantage of the Tha Pom Nature Trail in Krabi for hikers, trekkers, or nature lovers. Krabi is serviced by AirAsia and Tiger Airways; therefore, it would be easy to get there as flights generally take about one hour from Kuala Lumpur.
You can decide which would suit your style, from the ever-entertaining Phuket Island to the lively Koh Samui Island and even the remote and laid-back Koh Lipe Island.
Note that the more popular islands have excellent infrastructure catered to all walks of life, while the lesser-known islands are more for single or young couple travellers.
Hat Yai Packages at Matta Fair are also one of the top sellers, as many Malaysians of all ages prefer to visit this Southern town just after the border. Bus services from Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Penang all head there and take only about 4-6 hours.
A range of activities from shopping to eating await those heading here, while one of the unique things to do here is to visit the famous Floating Market in Hatyai, Thailand.
Medical Tourism Packages in Thailand
However, these are not easy to find at the Matta Fair in Malaysia, but you can always ask some of the travel agents selling Thailand tours and packages as they may be able to help you.
Thailand is well known for its expertise in the medical world and ranks top five globally, with medical tourists coming in from as far as the United States of America.
Update: Tourism Thailand has stopped attending the Matta Fair since 2013, but they will be at other travel fairs in Malaysia.
Overall, if you intend to visit our neighbour Thailand, please feel free to stop by the Tourism Thailand Booth at the Matta Fair 2011 in PWTC this March 11-13, and the representatives there will be ever ready to assist you with all your questions.
They will even recommend which booth you should go to if you want to book a holiday. Note that the reps here are not selling packages but providing valuable information about Thailand.
