My parents and siblings live in the same house but we barely spend time together as everyone busy with their own work. The Maldives remain a total mystery to me, a fairly well traveled person. I am constantly fascinated when i visit a new place that I have been completely oblivious that place until then. I've traveled numerous overseas destination and I'm proud to say I flew with AirAsia X every single time – Tokyo, Shanghai, Melbourne and London. There's no doubt in my mind that if I am ever to be blessed to visit the beautifully renowned Maldives – it will be with AirAsia X.

I would love a trip to Maldives with AirAsia X, because I continue to see all those beautiful photos of Maldives beaches and waters. I am finding it hard to believe it is real!? I think it is my duty to check this out. Have those pics been photoshopped? I always heard that the Maldives are a tropical paradise and the underwater life is amazing. I always think that I must visit Maldives at least once in my life. I never thought that there will be a cheaper and easier way to visit the beauty island. With the travel contest (organized by AirAsia X and Skyzone), it gives me a chance to fulfil my dream to visit Maldives with more affordable budget. Especially, there are lots of “big” things happen in my life recently, I really need a break in a wonderful place. As a perpetual traveler and travel writer/photographer, I've seen a lot of places, but I must travel on a strict budget because I never quite know where my next dollar is coming from. The Maldives have long been a dream destination, but one I never thought I'd be able to afford, so I was tremendously excited to read that AirAsia X is now flying to Male.

I have long flown AirAsia and AirAsia X for their economical airfares, and because, unlike other budget airlines, they let me take one carry-on PLUS my laptop, and their in-flight services are as good as any non-budget carrier. I want to visit Maldives because as a long-time globe traveler and travel writer/photographer, I've seen a lot of places, but I must travel on a strict budget because I never quite know where & when my next RM$ is coming from. The Maldives have long been a dream destination, but one I never thought I'd be able to afford, so I was tremendously excited to read that AirAsia X is now flying to Male.

Up to this day, I have long flown AirAsia and AirAsia X for their economical airfares, and because, unlike other budget airlines, they let me take one carry-on PLUS my laptop, and their in-flight services are as good as any non-budget carrier. Now I realize I might get to see the Maldives after all with these new VERY affordable flights from my favorite airline. The only thing that could be better than AirAsia's new service to the Maldives would be winning this contest! Maldives’s possibly the most romantic paradise on earth. I can just imagine waking up to the sounds of rolling waves crashing against mighty rocks. Strolling white, sandy beaches hand-in-hand with dearest hubby whispering sweet nothings into my ear. Diving into the deep blue ocean and marveling at nature's very best- the highlight being swimming amid colorful corals and alongside magnificent blue whales. Exploring quaint fishing villages and listening to ramblings of Maldives' myths and legends from the friendly locals. Resting my head against my beloved's chest whilst watching the sun set gracefully upon Maldives's gorgeous seascape. Of course let’s also not forget the nightly romantic candlelit dinners by the beach; accompanied by the magical sounds of the sea. I want to visit Maldives with AirAsia X because this past year, I just met underwater photographers and they just kept talking about Maldives and how it was super relaxing and filled with natural wonders! My first question was how do you get there from Manila and they told me about elaborate routes that I can't even remember haha. It's nice to know that I can just make my way to Malaysia, fly there through the routes you mentioned above (while having Uncle Chin's inflight meal aboard AirAsia X hehe) then have Skyzone Tours & Travel take care of everything else =D On another note, I haven't explored KL (just a stopover so far) and Malaysia (in my list!) yet and this is the perfect opportunity to hit go on a looong vacation, get a tan, snorkel, and meet up with the fishes and friends from KL hehe.

A trip to the Maldives with AirAsia X and Skyzone Tours and Travel would be my idea of a perfect holiday. It has always been on my list of places to visit and I cannot wait to check this off from my bucket list. School has been taking over my life this year and going out of the country somewhere on a beautiful beach to have some fun and relax for a while would be nice. There is no doubt that Maldives has some of the most photogenic beaches in the world. Like many people around the world, visiting Maldives is in my bucket list as well. The place just looks so stunning on photos and videos. Its pristine white beaches and crystal clear blue water leave me breathless I see a picture of them.

Ive always considered Maldives as one of the top places I should see before I die. With its pristine beaches and lovely accomodations, one couldn't ask for more. Indeed, it can be considered as heaven on earth!

Moreover, it would great to go back to Kuala Lumpur before boarding another flight to Maldives because Malaysia is very close to my heart. I wonder which island possesses the perfect beach. As for my travels in the Philippines, I have visited a lot of wonderful beaches, from Boracay's powdery beach up to crystal clear waters of Palawan. Makes me wonder, what about Maldives? what this beach has to offer that the Philippine beaches doesnt have. Thats for me to know when I get to travel and visit Maldives, who will win my heart as the best beach in the world.

I would like to visit Maldives because by the time i earn enough money to reach there, the possibility of the island to be entirely whipped out is VERY HIGH. But for me and my husband if we were to win this contest, it would be a perfect gift to celebrate our 25th silver wedding anniversary on 17th April 2014 by going for another honeymoon for two.

Why Maldives .. Because there's absolutely nothing to do if it is the first or second honeymoon we are talking about.

It will simply be the best of nature and the two of us – what a perfect combination.

I have visited the fantastic and beautiful beaches of Palawan, Boracay and Cebu in the Philippines. My curiosity is pushing me to visit Maldives, makes me want to compare if its at par or better than the beaches I've seen in the Philippines.
