For any Snoopy fans, the unique Charlie Brown Cafe in Hong Kong is located on Cameron Road in the district of Tsim Sha Tsui. So, how did I come across this place? Well, we were exploring Tsim Sha Tsui one evening, and we chanced upon this cute Snoopy cafe about 500 meters away.
Without hesitation, we could not resist the temptation and had to go in and see what the novelty cafe was all about.
*Just an update for Malaysians: Charlie Brown Cafe in Penang is set to open in April 2011.
Charlie Brown Snoopy Cafe in Hong Kong
Charlie Brown Cafe Main entrance.
The Charlie Brown Cafe here is located on the upper floor of the building and looks pretty standard from the outside. Still, when you walk in, various memorabilia relating to Snoopy and the gang suddenly take you into another world.
The staircase was also filled with figures from the Peanuts collection, such as Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, and Woodstock. All these are built into unique glass-covered pigeon holes in the walls as you go up.
On reaching the cafe floor, you will be greeted by the staff, and you then approach the cafe counter to place your orders for drinks, food and desserts. Mind you, it was about 9.00 pm when we walked in and just finished dinner. So dessert was next, and we chose to come here.

We found a nice, cosy seat in the middle of the cafe, and everything, from the walls to the ceiling, was about Snoopy and the gang. There was even a large flat-screen TV playing Snoopy cartoons. Giant live-sized Snoopy and Charlie Brown effigies were placed around, and parts of the walls were covered in cartoon strips.
I went to the washroom, and you guessed it: Charlie Brown and Lucy were the male and female doors to indicate. If you are doing a themed cafe, you should go here for inspiration and ideas.

Besides all the beautiful cakes and pastries, they serve spaghetti and pasta, too. We bought a slice of Snoopy Cheese Cake, but unfortunately, Lilian didn’t have the heart to eat the Snoopy-shaped white chocolate on top, so there are no guesses as to who ate it.
The Charlie Brown Cafe also sells merchandise like coffee mugs, key chains, stuffed toys, and T-shirts, which are fantastic souvenirs for fans. This is also a great place to hang out if you need a break from walking around Tsim Sha Tsui.
It can get crowded on weekends, so be prepared to wait for a seat. The Charlie Brown Cafe also has a VIP Card program, so inquire with the staff there to sign up.
