The Malaysia International Dive Expo 2010 (MIDE) at PWTC will be held from 30 July to 1 August 2010. This year’s scuba diving expo promises over 100 exhibitors from various countries showcasing their unique items for the dive industry.

Professionals from dive travel resorts, destinations, live-aboard dive operators, dive equipment and accessories manufacturers, wholesalers, exporters, retailers, underwater photography and videography, diving-related print and electronic media, and commercial diving companies will attend the largest dive expo in Malaysia.

The Malaysia International Dive Expo (MIDE) 2010 marks a special milestone, celebrating its fifth successful year as one of the region’s leading dive-focused exhibitions. Building on the momentum of previous years, the 2010 edition promises to be bigger and more exciting than ever before.

This year, the organisers are introducing a host of new and interactive activities designed to captivate both seasoned divers and curious newcomers. Visitors can look forward to thrilling auctions featuring top-tier dive gear, insightful seminars by experts in the field, hands-on workshops, engaging product demonstrations, exciting lucky draws, and various contests that will run throughout the event. It’s not just an expo—it’s a celebration of the entire diving lifestyle.

Adding to the prestige of the event, MIDE 2010 will be officially opened by the King and Queen of Malaysia, a testament to the expo’s growing significance in the country’s tourism and marine industries.

Throughout the three-day event, attendees will also have the rare opportunity to hear from a distinguished lineup of speakers. These include world-renowned underwater photographer Todd Essick, celebrated dive photojournalist Aaron Wong, marine conservationist Joanne Marston, and oceanic researcher Ken Kassem.

Also sharing their insights will be industry stalwarts such as John Lippman, Lawrence Alex Wu, Sean Ferguson, and many others, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise to the stage. With such an impressive program, MIDE 2010 is set to be an unmissable event for anyone interested in the wonders beneath the waves.
