Magic of the Night Boat Parade Putrajaya
The Magic of the Night Boat Parade Putrajaya was officially officiated by the Malaysian Tourism Minister Ng Yen Yen, Director General Tourism Malaysia Datuk Mirza Mohammad Taiyab and the Queen of Malaysia Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah on the 30th June 2012.
This event was done in conjunction with the Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival, which is now known as Royal Floria, and it is one of the colorful events of Malaysia.

This year, the tourism ministry hopes to achieve a slightly larger number to this unique event at Putrajaya. At this year’s event launch, foreign media and journalists were invited from all over Asia.
Seen were media from Japan, Thailand, Laos, India, and Cambodia which were treated to a local ‘kampung‘ style dinner buffet.
The official press conference then concluded with a Durian eating session at one of the mock up kampung houses.

All the boats then meet up in front of the main area and to conclude, a five-minute fireworks display will be the final show which will take place every
night from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm, beginning on the 30th June till the 8th of July.
This event is free to the public where you can simply choose the lakeside or bridge to catch this magnificent show.

Among those states taking part, there were floats from the Langkawi Development Authority, Putrajaya
Corporation, Perlis, Perak, Sabah, Sarawak, Pahang, Terengganu, Melaka, and Negeri Sembilan.
There were also two international countries who also took part which had beautiful floats. There were from Kenya, Africa, and China.
This was then followed by the international boats of China and Kenya who were the first to sail down the lake and then by boats from each of the Malaysian states.
Landmarks include the Wawasan Bridge, Ministry of Finance and the Millennium Monument, the one that looks like a rocket.
