The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be officially opened on the 1st December 2012. This YTL luxury hotel is set to rekindle the glory of the former Hotel Majestic by re-creating the bygone era of the 50s but in a grand style at a price of RM250 million.

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur also includes the original Hotel Majestic which is documented as a national heritage site under the Malaysian Antiquities Act.

This colonial heritage building was built in 1932, and became one of the great hotels of Kuala Lumpur in its time where many well-known and famous people have stayed back in the heyday.

However, it long lived its time and closed permanently in 1984, and 30 years later, it was revived once again by the TYL Group.

The World (LHW), as it became the only hotel in Kuala Lumpur to be

One of the many highlights of the hotel is sure to be The Majestic Wing, the fully restored original five storey Majestic Hotel which will house the Suites, The Colonial Café, The Bar, and The Tea Lounge.

The 15-storey Tower Wing will house the Reception, Deluxe Rooms, and Suites, Opus One Restaurant, 16 meeting rooms, a 1,200 capacity pillarless ballroom, a gymnasium and a swimming pool.

There is also a rooftop orchid garden and an air-conditioned glass walkway connecting its five separate buildings which is build on a 1.29 hectare site here.

Opposite the hotel is also another famous KL landmark which is the Moorish designed Kuala Lumpur Railway Station.
