Happy New Year 2015 from Malaysia Asia

Happy New Year 2015 from Malaysia Asia! As 2014 has been a very interesting year for me and my company, I look forward to 2015 as a more interesting and productive year ahead.

As many of you may already know what I do for a living, I would just like to inform new readers that Malaysia Asia is a travel social media company and not a travel blogger as many may think.

My company runs digital tourism and travel campaigns for many travel agencies and tourism organizations in the region where we promote tourism and travel destinations using digital platforms. I also write travel and tourism articles for print publications and do tourism copywriting.
For 2015, my travel trips are unplanned but I am sure there will be trips to Japan, Europe, and re-discovering Asia, especially around Malaysia.

No bucket list as I am not a believer in them, you will find out when I post travel articles on places I will visit.

As for 2014 and a quick round-up of it, it was a very interesting year where trips were made to numerous places around Asia, namely Japan, China, Indonesia, Borneo, Thailand and of course, my homeland Malaysia.

What opened my eyes were unique noncommercialized places that I visited and the many unique genres of tourism I experienced.

Music Festivals around Malaysia were also the highlight for 2014 as I have been covering this genre of tourism for the last couple of years too.

For 2015, I am hoping that the music tourism industry takes it a notch up to improve the quality and numbers.

Sabah and Sarawak on Borneo Island are also on my itinerary due to the many unexplored places there so I should be visiting these two places more frequently to cover the nonmainstream tourism there.

Islands are on top of my list as well, therefore I would be making more trips to the many islands namely around Malaysia.

Conclusion

Well, as this is my last article for 2014, I and Janice would like to wish all our friends, acquaintances and followers a productive and prosperous year ahead for 2015.

May you do well in your business, travels and of course your health and with that, we would like to wish everyone Happy New Year 2015 from Malaysia Asia.
