Kuala Lumpur City Gallery
Kuala Lumpur City Gallery is one of the latest tourism attractions in KL which tells the story of Kuala Lumpur through photos, prints and miniatures. The highlight of this attraction is ‘The Spectacular City Model Show’, the largest and first of such kind in Malaysia which is a light and sound show on KL’s Present and Future.
Kuala Lumpur City Gallery also serves as a Tourist Information Centre where anyone visiting this place can get a free copy of the Kuala Lumpur Walks and Tours Map here. This map provides a comprehensive write-up on the places of interest in Kuala Lumpur, ideal to digest before exploring the city of KL. Photos and a brief description of the historical buildings around the city are included in this informative map.

Located right in the historical enclave of KL’s Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka), visitors can learn about Old Kuala Lumpur through prints, photos and architectural miniature models. Visitors will also be amazed by an intricate miniature of Kuala Lumpur’s heritage enclave – A Diorama Model of Dataran Merdeka and KL’s Chinatown.
Visitors can take home with them a part of Kuala Lumpur at the ARCH Kuala Lumpur Gift Shop, where all ARCH merchandise are made right here at “The Making of ARCH” which is a live demo done by the Master-craftsmen here. These products are also endorsed as official souvenirs of Kuala Lumpur while anyone can participate and have a hands-on experience making these souvenirs at the ARCH D-I-Y Workshop.

Outside the building, you will find the iconic I LOVE KL structure, created with passion for the city and this structure attracts about 3000 visitors daily which is one of the most photographed items in the area. There is also the ARCH Cafe which serves homemade Malaysian recipes for anyone wanting to savour some local delicacies.

Ticket Prices are only applicable for The Spectacular City Model Show which is RM5 per person. Everything else is free.
For anyone wanting to know more about Kuala Lumpur’s history, this would be the perfect place to start as it is located in one of the historical parts of KL.
