Krabi Canoe Adventure at Thanboke Koranee National Park
This is an old post about the Krabi Canoe Adventure at Thanboke Koranee National Park in southern Thailand. I wrote this article some time ago but never got around to publishing it. I will now also state that this was the first-ever proper canoeing trip I ever took.
Krabi Canoe Adventure at Thanboke Koranee National Park
Besides writing in detail about my canoeing experience, I think most of you would already know what canoeing is. Generally, I have to say Krabi is one of the places where you should try this.
As part of ecotourism activities, many are available, but this canoeing experience tests your arm’s strength. I mean it, especially if you are a first-timer like me. First of all, safety is always the primary concern, and a crash course or briefing will be conducted for anyone doing this.

Below are random photos of my canoe adventure at Thanboke Koranee National Park in Krabi, taken using my DSLR camera, which I was so afraid I would drop in the water. But bringing a dry bag was the key to avoiding any mishaps.

Other Things to Do Around Krabi
Those visiting Krabi can also explore the main town area and the outside of the touristic Krabi beachside, as there are many ecotourism products and destinations to experience. Check out the main Krabi walking street in the town, where many local Thai products, souvenirs, and food are sold. F&B is also plentiful, and you can choose from cares to restaurants.
In Krabi town, there is the famous Krabi Night Market, which is recommended to visit because it is very local and not so commercial. For outdoor lovers, visit the Tha Pom Nature Trail, which will transport you to another world through its beautiful natural landscapes.
For fun in the sun and fantastic nature exploration, visit the unique Emerald Pool in Krabi, which attracts just about anyone. The waters are emerald in colour and simply amazing, and they are guaranteed to stop you for a few seconds when you first see them.
Conclusion
I hope you enjoyed reading my article on the Krabi Canoe Adventure at Thanboke Koranee National Park in South Thailand. This says there is so much more you can do when you visit Krabi than just go to the beach, shop, or eat.
Ecotourism in Krabi is highly popular; therefore, I hope you take the opportunity to get out of the main Krabi area and explore the many beautiful places here.
