Visit Malaysia 2026 Logo
Malaysia has launched the official Visit Malaysia 2026 Logo and exciting new campaign aimed at captivating the world’s attention, and it’s not just about the sights—it’s about the experiences. With the launch of “Surreal Experiences,” Malaysia invites travellers to immerse themselves in the country’s extraordinary beauty, vibrant culture, and diverse wildlife.

A key feature of this campaign is its theme song, “Surreal Experiences,” which sets the tone for a journey beyond the ordinary. But it’s not just the music that stands out. The Malayan sun bear, an endangered species, has been chosen as the campaign’s official icon.
This choice represents the urgent need to protect this unique animal and symbolizes Malaysia’s broader commitment to wildlife conservation. The sun bear’s representation through two lovable mascots—Wira and Manja—underscores the country’s values of inclusivity and diversity, inviting people from all walks of life to be part of the journey.
The campaign promises to showcase Malaysia’s stunning landscapes, diverse cultures, and unique attractions that will leave visitors with unforgettable experiences. The VM2026 logo, more than just a symbol, encapsulates the essence of Malaysia: a nation built on its warm hospitality, heartfelt welcomes, and the stories its citizens share. This is not just a marketing tool; it’s a reflection of the nation’s soul.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim officially launched the campaign at Hangar 6 of the MAB engineering complex. Alongside him were Deputy Prime Ministers Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Fadillah Yusof, Tourism, Arts, and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing, and Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari. The event marked a new chapter in Malaysia’s tourism industry, with the government setting ambitious yet realistic goals for the future.
“Our target is to welcome 35.6 million international tourists by 2026,” said Anwar Ibrahim. “It’s an ambitious goal, but one that is entirely feasible. Achieving this would generate RM147.1 billion in revenue for the country, benefiting various sectors and contributing to Malaysia’s economic growth.”

With its stunning natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and welcoming spirit, Malaysia invites the world to experience a land of surprises—where every corner holds a surreal adventure. Whether exploring lush jungles, savouring authentic cuisine, or meeting the friendly locals, Malaysia promises to offer far more than you expect.
As every campaign needs a focus, this time around, the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 focus has been put on culture as the country is rich in it. Also, the Visit Malaysia 2026 strategic roadmap was highly debated back in 2024 when I had written about this, and only in 2024 was it laid out before officially launching VM2026 in January.
Conclusion
So, pack your bags, embrace the journey, and get ready to discover Malaysia like never before. The experiences awaiting you are nothing short of surreal, and we hope everyone worldwide likes the Visit Malaysia 2026 logo, which represents the entire country and people.
