Tanah Lot Sunset in Bali Picture
This stunning photo of a Tanah Lot sunset in Bali is my picture for this week. I took it while a Balinese fisherman was standing on the rocks. At the same time, the waves were coming in hard, splashing against the rocks, resulting in this beautiful picture.
These rocks are located on the right side of the famous Tanah Lot temple, which requires a little walking. This sunset photo was also taken with a 300mm lens on my beat-up old Nikon D60 DSLR camera.
For those heading to Tanah Lot, note that this is one of the most popular tourist places in Bali, and you can expect thousands of visitors throughout the day, and even more during sunset hours here. Also, make sure you wear slippers, as when you get onto the beach, the waves from the high tide start to come in, and you are sure to get wet.
Sometimes, waves are pretty prominent here at Tanah Lot, and if you are lucky, you can see some locals surfing these vast waves. However, for those wanting to capture a sunset photo at Tanah Lot, ensure you are here by 5.00 PM, as the sun starts to set around 6.00 PM.
Conclusion
For those heading to the Island of Gods and into photography, please take note that getting to these places requires a lot of travelling time. Some do not open early, while others can get crowded easily.
You must always respect the local cultures and etiquette wherever you are. Check out my other Sunset photography at Uluwatu Temple and my other sunset photography worldwide, which I have taken over the years. Thanks for reading and viewing my Tanah Lot sunset in Bali picture.
