Whitesnake Live Concert in Kuala Lumpur 2011
will be held at the Indoor Stadium Negara at 8.30pm, Sunday, 30th
October 2011. This is the rock bands first ever concert in Malaysia
during their world tour that is taking them all over the globe.
For the
fans, especially those who grew up in the 80s, here is your chance to
let loose at one of the pioneer commercial metal bands of that era.
UPDATE on Whitesnake Concert Venue:

are valid for this new venue.
are they, some may ask, well Whitesnake is a pure English rock band,
founded in 1978 by David Coverdale after his departure from his previous
band, Deep Purple. The band’s early material has been compared by
critics to Deep Purple, but by the mid 1980s they had moved to a more
commercial heavy metal style.
The band’s 1987 self-titled album was
their most commercially successful, and contained two of their most
recognizable songs, “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love”. In 2005,
Whitesnake was named the 85th greatest hard rock band of all time by VH1
and is still making music till this very day.
For
the Kuala Lumpur Concert, they will be singing most of their popular
hits and also songs from the new album which is titled Forevermore. For
the rock fans out there, this is one of the rare chances to see some of
the greatest rock bands perform here on out shores.
If you miss this
legendary concert, the next stop for them will be Whitesnake Live in
Singapore at Fort Canning Park on the 1st November 2011.
These are the
only two Southeast Asian stops the band will be making before heading
back to Europe to conclude the world tour. Visit the official Whitesnake Website for more information.
Notice that the ‘Rockzone’ is the most expensive and also a standing
area?
This will be the main area to head bang and let yourself go at
concerts like these. For the not-so-adventurous, you may want to chill
out at the seating areas.

buying your tickets.
The best time to get to the stadium would be at
least two hours before show starts as you do not want to be caught in
bad traffic around the city.
There are numerous LRT and bus stops around
the venue so please check. For the record, I grew up listening to music
from this era so I may even go for the Whitesnake Live Concert in Kuala
Lumpur, 2011.
