Korean Golden Disk Awards

The Korean Golden Disk Awards in Malaysia will be held on January 15 and 16 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) in Selangor. These K-POP awards show, also known as the Samsung Galaxy 27th Golden Disk Awards (GDA), will be held in Malaysia for the first time.

Top K-Pop Superstars like Psy, Super Junior, Big Bang, KARA, Girls Generation, T-ara, CNBlue, FT Island, Infinite and Beast. Over 20 South Korean top artists nominated for the awards will perform at the event, which promises to be the biggest thing for 2013 in Malaysia. The big question is whether Psy will be performing here.

This massive event is organized by Mediartncomm Co Ltd, sponsored by Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd, and supported by the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).

For those travelling from around Southeast Asia to attend the event, especially those from Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia, you can check some of the hotels around Sepang for accommodation. Otherwise, you will need to stay in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya and travel up and down to the event.

The distance from KL City to Sepang is about an hour’s drive. Please also note that there are no trains to the Sepang race track. The closest stations are located at KLIA and KLIA2 airports.
