This Great Wall of China photo was taken from Badaling Gate on my inaugural visit in October 2012. This travel photo was also taken just before the winter when I was told that this entire place would be covered in snow.

As it was my first time at the Great Wall, I chose to climb it via the Badaling Gate, which is one of the most popular areas and has the hardest section to climb. This was a dream come true for me, as it was on my bucket list for travel. I can only dream of going back to visit this place, but this time, through another gate.

Beijing is also best visited at any time of the year, as the scenery and landscape change during each season. Honestly, it was a quick working trip when I was here, so I only spent five days exploring this fantastic city.

Conclusion

My trip to Beijing was with AirAsiaX, as this was the preferred budget long-haul airline due to its cheap air tickets. As this is my third Wonder of the World visit, I am pretty happy to see this fantastic place, and I hope you enjoy my Great Wall of China photo.
